About Master Packager Suite
Master Packager Suite helps IT professionals validate, package, customize, standardize, test, and deploy Windows applications in enterprise environments.
Master Packager Suite is created by application packaging experts who have worked as a Managed Service Provider, packaging thousands of high-quality applications for demanding enterprise organizations over more than a decade. Learn more about our story and how we created Master Packager.
Problems it solves
Master Packager Suite is designed to solve all application packaging problems so that no other paid tools are needed. Here are just a few of the problems it addresses:
- Vendor installers lack silent installation — Many applications ship without reliable silent switches, making automated deployment difficult without repackaging.
- Packages are inconsistent — Vendor installers vary in quality and structure, so repackaging helps bring them in line with enterprise standards.
- Installations are insecure — Vendor packages may install files in unsecured locations or apply overly broad permissions that need to be corrected before deployment.
- Upgrades are unreliable —
.exeinstallers often lack standardized upgrade behavior, which can leave behind files or broken configurations between versions. - Packaging is time-consuming — Without dedicated tooling and automation, creating and maintaining enterprise-ready packages is slower and more error-prone.
- Teams lack shared workflows — Without a standardized process and reusable scripts, team members spend time solving problems that someone else has already resolved.
- Per-user installations create overhead — Repackaging makes it easier to convert applications to per-machine deployment for simpler management.
Who it is for
Master Packager Suite is built for IT professionals who package, deploy, and manage software in enterprise environments:
- In-house IT teams — package and deploy applications within their own organization.
- Managed Service Providers (MSPs) — package and deploy applications for multiple customers.
What is included
Master Packager Suite includes four main components:
Create, edit, and customize MSI and MST packages. It includes Advanced Editor for structured package editing and Table Editor for direct access to MSI database tables when deeper control is required.
Capture system changes with snapshots and convert them into deployment-ready MSI or MSIX packages. It is useful for converting .exe installers, capturing manual changes, standardizing legacy software, and validating MSIX compatibility.
Create PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT) wrappers through a guided interface. It automates repetitive scripting tasks, speeds up package creation, and helps standardize deployment packages.
Use a collection of packaging utilities to identify installed applications, find product codes, detect embedded MSI installers, extract app logos, generate uninstall command lines, and upload packages to Microsoft Intune and Patch My PC.
