About Master Packager

Master Packager lets you create, edit, and customize MSI and MST packages for enterprise deployment.

Use it to review package structure, update files and registry entries, manage components and features, and configure custom actions. It includes two complementary editing experiences: Advanced Editor for guided package editing and Table Editor for direct access to MSI database tables.

Advanced Editor​

Work with common installer elements such as general information, files, registry entries, features, components, shortcuts, and custom actions through a structured interface.

Master Packager - Table Editor UI

Table Editor​

Work directly with MSI database tables to view and edit raw table data, add or remove rows, customize the schema, and update values that are not exposed through the Advanced Editor.
